Dr. Annu Tyagi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Psychology at Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and is UGC-NET qualified. Dr. Tyagi completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delhi and earned her M.A. in Applied Psychology from Gautam Buddha University, where she was awarded the Gold Medal for academic excellence.
Her academic and research interests include Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Psychological Flexibility, and Digital Well-being. Her work focuses on the development and application of evidence-based psychological interventions that promote resilience, emotional well-being, and happiness among individuals and communities.
A certified mindfulness trainer, Dr. Tyagi actively works to integrate mindfulness and positive psychology practices into educational settings and mental health initiatives. Through her teaching, research, and training programs, she aims to foster psychological well-being and adaptive coping in contemporary digital environments.
Dr. Tyagi has published research in Scopus-indexed and UGC-CARE listed journals and remains actively involved in initiatives related to student welfare, mental health promotion, and digital well-being within the university community through her academic and administrative roles.
